Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our go to market organization.. The SDR will play a critical role in driving pipeline growth by identifying and qualifying potential leads for our distributed database solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual looking to advance their career in sales within the software industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate new leads and opportunities.

  • Research and identify key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.

  • Qualify inbound leads through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.

  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to develop and execute targeted prospecting strategies.

  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and lead status in our CRM system.

  • Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to uncover their pain points and business needs.

  • Schedule appointments and demos for Account Executives with qualified leads.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and market developments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales development or similar role within the software industry.

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding quota/targets.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Hubspot) and sales prospecting tools.

  • Knowledge of distributed database technologies and/or experience in the IT sector is a plus.

  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.
